Having been nursing for over forty years, I wanted to do something different before it was too late! I wanted to do something that would utilise that vast experience, as well as my skills and gifts I believe I have caring for people.
More especially, I wanted to do something that would enable me to provide care without interruption, as so often happens within a ward situation. A friend suggested ‘foot care’ – that was it!
I applied to Stonebridge Associated Colleges and undertook their Foot Health Practitioner (Advanced) Diploma Course and passed the theory with Distinction – and so ‘Feet of Distinction’ was born!
My desire is to give my client, not only a professional service, but a friendly, personalised one. One where you not only feel better for having had your feet cared for, but where you feel valued, and special.
